FEES

All payments must be made by credit card through our website. Administrative fees must be paid prior to confirmation of a scheduled mediation. For your convenience and ours, our usual practice is to email invoices for mediation fees to the attorneys for represented parties following mediation. 

TO ENABLE US TO CONTINUE THIS PRACTICE, WE REQUIRE THE ATTORNEYS TO ASSURE US OF PAYMENT FOR THE STATUTORY OR AGREED SHARE OF THE MEDIATION FEES ALLOCATED TO THEIR CLIENT. 

Our firm reserves the right to require a pre-payment of the estimated costs of a mediation.

CANCELLATIONS

There will be a cancellation fee charged for cases cancelled or postponed less than three weeks prior to the scheduled date. This fee is waived only if we are able to schedule another mediation on that date.

Steve Smith's Mediation Rates:

- Administration Fee: $100.00 per party

- Mediation Rate: $200.00 per hour / per party (Four-hour minimum charge)

- Travel Rate: $200 per hour

- Postponement/Cancellation Fee: $1,000 if canceled or postponed less than three weeks prior the scheduled date. This will be invoiced equally between all parties unless specified.
